Laugh Factory Chicago Manager Arrested by Feds
Laugh Factory Chicago is crowdsourcing to assist night manager Nathan Griffin with legal funds after his arrest on Friday morning.
Griffin, a U.S.-born citizen, was tackled to the ground and taken into custody by masked federal agents outside the comedy club for attempting to interfere with an immigration operation.
- At least four agents in camouflage were involved in the arrest.
- Griffin's mother, Elaine Plybon, was briefly pinned down during the incident.
“Why are you doing this? Where are you taking him?”
Bystanders shouted as Griffin was put in the backseat of a vehicle.
