Greece Court Holds Farming Fraud Suspects Ahead of Trial
Some alleged leaders of a criminal group accused of siphoning off millions in Greek EU farm subsidies have been taken into pre-trial custody, according to state media.
Arrested suspects, allegedly involved in large-scale agricultural funding fraud and money laundering, were escorted by plainclothes police officers in Athens on October 23, 2025.
