A new exhibit, "Seeded: Art After Investment," is on display in the Harry Krug Gallery through November 10. The exhibit features artwork created by students and faculty using new equipment funded by a $25,000 Infrastructure Grant.
The works on view represent not only individual artistic achievement but also the expanded possibilities afforded by new tools and technologies in our studios and galleries.
A public reception is planned for Wednesday, October 1, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. The Art Department strategically divided the grant among several studios to maximize impact.
The exhibit showcases the impact of investment on creative outcomes, demonstrating how a little seed money can grow into major achievements.
