AMD Ryzen 10 and 100 Series Rebrand Older Zen 2 and Zen 3+ Chips

AMD has quietly introduced two processor families, Ryzen 10 and Ryzen 100, into its official listings—both reviving older hardware under new branding.

The chips, despite appearing new for 2025, trace their origins to earlier “Mendocino” and “Rembrandt” designs that first appeared around 2021 and 2022.

Ryzen 100 Series

The Ryzen 100 models sit at the top of this revived stack. They use the FP7-R2 mobile platform and come with up to 8 cores and 16 threads, plus Radeon 680M graphics—the same integrated GPU found in past Rembrandt systems.

They run at around 28 watts but can scale from 15 to 30 watts depending on the laptop design.

Ryzen 10 Series

The Ryzen 10 series covers the budget segment.
