Glīd Technologies: Revolutionizing Freight Transportation

Kevin Damoa, founder of Glīd Technologies, has a unique background that sparked his interest in logistics. As a 17-year-old U.S. Army enlistee, he was tasked with loading tanks and Bradley fighting vehicles onto the railroad, facing the challenges and dangers of moving freight from road to rail.

Damoa's experience in the U.S. Air Force National Guard and subsequent roles in the private sector, including SpaceX and Northrup Grumman, further solidified his passion for logistics. However, it wasn't until 2022, while working on the Harley-Davidson e-bike brand spinoff Serial 1, that he decided to address the road-to-rail problem.

"I had my come-to-Jesus moment,"

Damoa recalled, marking the pivotal moment when he decided to start his own company, Glīd Technologies, to build an autonomous shortcut to move freight from road to rail.
