A judge has ruled that Tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old man accused of killing Charlie Kirk, will be allowed to wear street clothes during his trial, but must be physically restrained.

Judge Tony Graf made the decision during a virtual court hearing on Monday. Robinson is accused of assassinating right-wing political activist Charlie Kirk during a speaking engagement at Utah Valley University in September.

Robinson surrendered to police after a 33-hour manhunt and has been charged with aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm, obstruction of justice, witness tampering, and committing a violent offense in the presence of a child. Prosecutors, led by Utah County attorney Jeff Gray, will seek the death penalty in this case.
