Hong Kong Tennis Open: Last China Players Exit
China's last two representatives at the Prudential Hong Kong Tennis Open were sent crashing out of the tournament on Wednesday.
- Zhang Shuai lost to Russia's Anna Kalinskaya 6-1, 6-1.
- Wang Yafan lost to Switzerland's Belinda Bencic 6-2, 6-2.
"I felt good on the court," Bencic said. "I tried to play aggressively, tried to play my game, and it worked out well.
Bencic continues her climb into the world top 10 after being ranked 913 a year ago.
