Wildfire in Door County Contained
A massive wildfire in Southern Door County has been contained after a two-day effort by 140 firefighters from 19 departments.
The fire started on Tuesday when an ATV caught fire in a wooded area near Gravel Pit Road in the Town of Gardner. The owner of the ATV called 911 to report the fire, which was spreading to the surrounding grass.
