Sharks' Decision on Dickinson's Future
San Jose Sharks coach Ryan Warsofsky has not yet made a decision on whether to keep defenseman Sam Dickinson in the NHL or return him to the Ontario Hockey League (OHL).
Dickinson, 19, has played eight NHL games and believes that staying with the Sharks would be beneficial for his development.
I think for anybody, being here, you learn more just with everything that’s here. The coaches, the people, and the players, there’s just more to be learned here for anybody.
The team must decide before Dickinson plays his tenth game, as this would burn the first year of his entry-level contract.
