Tragic Incident in Pune
A 52-year-old woman, Asha Sanjay Gawli, died after falling into a drinking water tank in a residential society in Pune's Pimpri-Chinchwad.
According to reports, the incident occurred on Friday morning while Gawli was filling water. Her body has been sent to Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial Hospital for a post-mortem.
Police are currently investigating the matter. This incident is reminiscent of a similar event last year in Hadapsar, where a 25-year-old woman was found in a water tanker in Pune's Fursungi area.
