Davitts have secured their spot in the All-Ireland club championship final with a 2-14 to 3-4 win over Dunloy of Antrim.
The first half was closely contested, with Dunloy scoring the first goal through Oonagh Elliott after 15 minutes. However, Davitts responded with a goal from Mary Kelly, who received a fine ball from Olivia Forde. Kelly scored again just before the break, giving Davitts a 2-8 to 2-4 lead.
In the second half, Davitts dominated, with top scorer Lourda Kavanagh in fine form. Despite a late consolation goal from Majella Connolly for Dunloy, Davitts emerged victorious and will face Granagh/Ballingarry in the final on November 2.
Davitts are through to their first All-Ireland club championship final since 1999.
