British band Pulp will perform in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne, as well as at the Adelaide Festival, marking their first visit since 2013.
Their eighth studio album, More, was released earlier this year. After reforming in 2023, the band played shows in the UK, Europe, and North America, reminding fans of their significance.
The band has been road-testing new material, including "The Hymn of the North", originally written for Simon Stephens' 2019 play Light Falls.
The addition of new band members and a string section has brought fresh energy to Pulp without losing their unique sound.
Author's note: Pulp returns to Australia after 13 years with new energy and sound.
