Yellow Door Energy Signs PPA for Bahrain Solar Project
A 123-megawatt-peak (MWp) solar power project will be developed, featuring the world's largest single-site rooftop solar plant.
Bahrain-based Foulath Holding has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Yellow Door Energy to develop this project.
- The project will include a 50MWp rooftop plant with 77,000 solar panels.
- The solar panels will be installed across a 262,000-square-metre stockyard shed.
- The site will feature ten rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) plants and four ground-mounted PV installations.
The announcement was made during the Gateway Gulf investment forum hosted by the Bahrain Economic Development Board.
