As the 2025 high school football season's tournament time begins, the MIAA faces a familiar issue. For the fifth straight season, Catholic Memorial, one of the state's most talented programs, will compete beneath the highest level.
Catholic Memorial, currently the fourth-highest rated team in the state, will enter the postseason as the top seed in Division 2.
- Lost back-to-back Division 1 Super Bowls to St. John's Prep in 2018 and 2019
- Moved down to Division 2 after Covid realignment
