Florida Atlantic men's basketball team secured their first win of the season against Boston College on Monday night, with an 83-78 overtime victory.
Guard Yohann Sissoko was the hero, making a game-saving three-pointer to seal the win in front of a sold-out Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena.
"I don't know that this [game] was pretty, maybe that's just part of it, but what our guys did show is some real fight and resolve," said head coach John Jakus.
This win comes after an electric 42-point win against Florida Tech on Thursday, where guard Devin Vanterpool had a 24-point performance.
The team's coach, John Jakus, expressed gratitude for the team's heart and the fan spirit that helped them get back in the game.
