West Virginia University President to Deliver First State of the University Address
West Virginia University President Michael T. Benson will deliver his first State of the University address on Monday at 3 p.m. from the Fitzsimmons Event Hall at the WVU College of Law.
The speech will be part of the Faculty Senate meeting, where Benson will discuss his vision for WVU's future. previously, he spoke about his strategic plan at the West Virginia Business Summit and released the university's new mission statement:

During his 12 weeks on the job, Benson has traveled to dozens of West Virginia counties as part of his "Welcome Home" tour.
