This column is a sequel to my previous article on the role of Elders in sharing stories from history.
I will share a story from my people, the Celts, and their encounter with the Normans from England during medieval times.
As I mentioned earlier, among Aboriginal peoples in Canada, Elders are the knowledge-keepers of the past.
I suggested that telling stories from history is worth the effort to learn and understand it.
Today, I will provide an example of storytelling by sharing an interesting story about my folk, the Celts.
I am attempting to be a 'knowledge-keeper' and follow my own advice to Elders of our culture.
