Kentucky Gov. Beshear Offers Prayers After UPS Cargo Plane Crash
Andy Beshear expressed his prayers for the victims of the UPS cargo plane crash, both those on board and on the ground.
Beshear, who has led Kentucky through numerous disasters, emphasized the resilience of Kentuckians.
He said he didn't know the status of the three crew members aboard the plane, a McDonnell Douglas MD-11 made in 1991.
Beshear was first elected in 2019 and re-elected in 2023 as a rare Democratic governor in a predominantly Republican state.
