Laura Wright Celebrates 20 Years as Carly Spencer
General Hospital star Laura Wright looks back at her two decades as Carly Spencer, a heroine who always puts family first.
Wright brought soap opera experience to her role as Carly, having previously played Ally Rescott on Loving and The City, and Cassie Layne on Guiding Light.
Sarah Brown, who originated the role of Carly, told a GH producer that if she ever left the show, Wright could take on the part.
