This Sunday, 9 November, marks Remembrance Sunday, a day that honors the contributions of British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women during the two World Wars and later conflicts.
Following this, Armistice Day will be observed on Tuesday, 11 November at 11 am with the Royal British Legion, including a two-minute silence to commemorate the end of World War One.

Caroline Leaver reflects on how, despite changes in the nature of conflict, the fundamental horrors of war remain unchanged. She emphasizes the importance of remembering sacrifices made in recent conflicts worldwide, including the Falklands, Iraq, and Afghanistan.
