Australia scored 119 all out in 18.2 overs against India in the 4th T20I at Carrara Oval. India secured a commanding 48-run victory with a strong all-round performance.
Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav praised his batsmen, especially Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma, for providing a crucial start to the innings.
Despite dew conditions affecting the latter part of the match, Yadav was impressed with the bowlers’ effort and expressed satisfaction with their collective performance.
"I feel blessed with the bowling options at my disposal and proud that everyone stepped up when it mattered," said Yadav.
With this win, India has taken a strong position in the series. Australia can no longer clinch the series, but they aim to prevent India from sealing it outright by the 5th T20I at The Gabba, Brisbane, on 8th November. The final match starts at 1:45 pm IST (8:15 am GMT).
Currently, cricket fans can also follow the 2nd ODI between Pakistan and South Africa in Faisalabad.
India’s versatile players, led by Axar Patel and effective bowling, ensured a comprehensive 48-run win in the 4th T20, edging closer to a series victory in Australia.
