This Remembrance Day, we pause to honour all who have served and sacrificed in past and current conflicts. We reflect on their vital contributions to our freedom and extend support to serving and former Armed Forces members and their families.
Many places of worship in Manchester and nearby will observe a two-minute silence. On campus, The Holy Name Church will hold the silence on 9th November at 11am. Please check with your local place of worship for their scheduled events.
These groups will gather in John Owen’s Quad at 10:45am. Attendees are encouraged to arrive before 10:45am to participate in the two-minute silence beginning at 11am.
