Hamas Releases Final Israeli Hostages
Hamas has begun releasing the final Israeli hostages held captive in Gaza, a major milestone in efforts to end the devastating two-year war in the Palestinian territory.
As part of the ceasefire agreement, Hamas is expected to free all 20 living Israeli hostages, while Israel will release nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners and detainees.
- Hamas initially handed over 7 of the 20 living hostages to the International Committee of the Red Cross.

"You are coming home,"
said Einav Zangauker to her son, Matan Zangauker, 25, in a video call shortly after his release.
The Israeli military is flying the hostages by helicopter from southern Israel to hospitals in the Tel Aviv area.
