Users worldwide report problems with Instagram including login failures and slow feed loading. Downdetector data shows a rapid rise in outage reports matching these issues. Both the app and website appear affected at once. Meta has still not release a statement about the disruption as of 22 July 2026. Cases reported have been noted across Facebook, Messenger and Instagram at the same time.
